About Sierra Anglican Church
Sierra Anglican Church is a Christian Community grounded in the traditions of the ancient church. We are a community of Christian believers holding to the Anglican tradition. Our community offers Christian fellowship and fosters belief in Jesus Christ as identified by the early church. What is true now has always been true. We believe that the hope for the world starts and ends with Jesus Christ and life within our community is based upon the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:18-20:
All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. This week I decided that I needed to begin reading a series of books I’ve had for years, (mostly for reference). So, I started at the beginning. The first book is the “First Epistle of Clement to the Corinthians.” Clement was of the sub-apostolic period having succeeded the original apostles.
