Welcome

CrossWe are a group of Christian believers holding to the Anglican tradition here in Reno, Nevada.  We are liturgical, evangelistic and faithful in our beliefs and worship.  We believe that questions about God and life can be considered rationally and with honesty and that God's answers to those questions can and should be lived out faithfully in today's world.

What Makes Us Unique?
We desire to live out in this present time the same faith received and carried on by the historic Anglican Church throughout the centuries.  We choose not to be divided between the “sacred” and “secular,” between our faith and our thinking, work and play. Our commitment is to the Bible as the authoritative Word of God and to Jesus Christ as the only Son of God in whom alone one finds salvation.  We embrace the three streams of the historic Anglican Christian faith aptly described by the Anglican Mission in America (learn more about historic Anglicanism by visiting the AMIA web site).

How to Get Involved?
Our hope is that Sierra-Anglican.org helps you get to know a little more about us and Sierra Anglican Church.  We encourage you to pray about joining us and to begin thinking about ways God might have you be involved.

For now, stay up-to-date on plans and progress by signing up for the Sierra Anglican Church mailing list.  Our goal is to provide you with a regular email newsletter of our plans, strategies and activities.

Even better, come by for a visit.  We meet for Holy Eucharist with The Rev. Ron Longero every Sunday at 10:30 at Mountain View Montessori School, 565 Zolezzi Lane in South Reno.

Thank you for your interest.  We look forward to meeting you in person.  Please contact us with any questions and comments.
